Employed
If you are employed we will need:

Photocopy of passport
Photocopy of NIE number
3 months up to date bank statements
3 months up to date pay slips
Most recent P60
Proof of other income (e.g. rental contracts)
Employers certificate (position, no. of years in current employment)

Self employed
If you are self employed we will need:

Photocopy of passport
Photo copy of NIE number
3 months bank statements
2 years company accounts – Tax Returns
Proof of other income (e.g. rental contracts)
Declaration of business (position, no. of years, what company does etc)

Property documentation
If you are purchasing a property we will need:

Photocopy of full Escritura or Copia Simple
Photocopy of Nota Simple
Photocopy of I.B.I bill
Photocopy of Compraventa contract

If you are re-mortgaging a property we will need:

Photocopy of full Escritura or Copia Simple
Photocopy of Nota Simple
6 months proof pay slips of current mortgage payment
Copy of building and contents insurance – Seguro Vivienda

Extra documentation required for new build properties
If you are purchasing a new build, in addition to the required property documentation listed above we will also need:

Building or business project
Copy of Seguro Contruccion Decenal (10 years construction insurance)

Please be aware that before the completion of the mortgage at the Notary, the bank can and will ask for originals of all documents.
